The Go-Getter, TheGoGetter

What really is a Go-Getter? The book, The Go-Getter, speaks of a person who could easily make excuses for himself, and who could easily complain about his circumstances, but he doesn’t. What he does do, William Peck, at the pinnacle of the story, he takes responsibility for the situation, and he physically, mentally and emotionally deals with it until he finds his way to success.

The circumstances are a mismanaged business, greedy management, and an owner looking for the right person to manage his business.

Father's Day

Father’s day reminds me that I have children who probably will never wish me a Happy Father’s Day. And it seems as though I have figured out the pivoting moment on which destiny took its course.

We were a young couple with five children, 4 girls and 1 boy. Generally speaking children are great because of their energy and zest for life; although, I don’t normally pay attention to them. But my own are of a different matter, or at least that is the way it was. My children were everything to me. I loved to hear them play, and I loved to teach them as well--read to them, show them math.

Remote Insight

Sometimes it is more than just living that makes life. Have you ever noticed how our minds search for something worthwhile and hopeful? Even “reality” shows create a situation where ordinary people compete for some kind of goal or reward that leads to a possibly.
